Custom item shipping

Custom quilts or quilting a quilt top will start when your project comes up in our queue. We will provide an approximate scheduled start date when your order is placed. From the start date to the completion date of a custom quilt with no applique can range 8-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the design and size of the quilt. Applique quilts from the start date to the completion date can range from 12-24 weeks depending on the complexity of the design and the size of the quilt.

If your quilt is a gift and you need it by a specific time, please consult with us to be sure we can complete your quilt by the requested time.

We will notify you when your quilt is one day from completion. Your quilt will ship within 24 hours of final payment.

Ready to ship items

Ready to ship items ordered with credit cards and Paypal will normally ship within 3-5 days from when the order is placed. From Alaska, we can process 2nd day. Please inquire if you would like expedited shipping.

How Comfy Quilts & Designs Ships

We ship most items US Postal Service Flat Rate packaging. Your package should arrive in 3-5 days. We will email you confirmation that they have been shipped and give you a delivery confirmation number you can use to track the package online at US Postal Service, UPS or whoever does the shipping. Email us to request different delivery service.

For overseas shipping

The most economical way is US Postal Service economy parcel post (4-6 weeks).

The next best option is airmail parcel post (4-10 days.) The fastest but most expensive overseas shipping is Global Express (2-4 days). We will be glad to give you an exact shipping cost quote on any one or all three international shipping options.

If your item is returned undelivered and it has to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will be charged.

Comfy Quilts & Designs provides flat rate shipping of $8.00 for orders of $100.00 or more.
